There are several types of boxing hand wraps you can choose from:

Traditional Hand Wraps – Traditional wraps are made of a thick cotton weave.  They do not stretch, and are generally less comfortable than the more popular “Mexican Style” wraps.

Mexican Style / Semi-Elastic Wraps – The most widely used hand wraps for boxing are the Mexican style wraps. These hand wraps are more stretchy and comfortable than traditional tape. They also can be used again and again as they are machine wash safe. There are various popular sports brands that sell their own elastic wraps pushing this type of boxing hand wrap at the forefront of the market. You can find a variety of styles for this hand wrap and almost all are made from soft and elastic materials with adjustable Velcro straps for easy fitting.

Glove Style – Handwrap gloves come in the form of fingerless gloves that uses neoprene/synthetic materials that are both extremely lightweight and offers impressive shock absorbing properties. Glove style wraps are also extremely easy to put on and take off, but unfortunately offer less protection than wrapping, as they do not tighten when you close your hand into a fist.  They are not recommended if you intend to do any serious training

Gauze / Tape – Professional and competition boxers must wrap their hands using gauze and tape to fight.  It is not necessary if you are just training in the gym.

We recommend using Mexican Style hand wraps.
